Well you are quite good at feigning outrage, so I guess you win.

No. I'm having a bit of humor about a condition which I have. It's allowed. Look it up. Go police another comment thread. I'm actually learning shit here.

#NotAllServiceDogs

This made me lol. Plus one.

Calm down. Take a sip of water.

Look at all this information that people are posting. This is way better than the ones calling me a "cunt". Thank you, melly.

I don't remember saying those things, but you seem pretty sure that I did. By the way, "cunt" is a pretty insensitive choice of words. Shame on you. Shame on you.

I'm sure she'd call my Boxer out right away. That clown would never let anyone in my office get work done if I brought him to work. It's part of his charm!

Yeah, a cat would be way easier to haul around too.

HERF DERF. No one is allowed to talk about their own disorder with some humor. Ever. Get over yourself.

Oh cool. Maybe this is what I need to look at! :D

Well, I wouldn't say that he is certified. I would just say he's a service dog. And hopefully no one would ask about certification. Or maybe I could just pull a quick "hey, look over there!"

This. This would make flying so much better.

Yes, but I was referring to conditions such as Autism etc, which PTSD most certainly is not.

At no point have I said anything bad about these people. I just want a service dog because I want to bring my dog with me everywhere. I'm sure it genuinely helps these people, and that's great... whatever it takes to help them.

Good response. Couldn't think of anything more clever, eh? Go back to your corner and sob now.

Well shit, son. Hook a brother up. Can I get this billed to the VA?

While the dog programs listed on that site are no doubt terrific, they don't really involve what we're talking about. Those service dogs are for serious physical and mental handicaps.

Cool story. I'm not saying I don't believe that they work or that these people don't deserve dogs. I'm sure the dogs help them. Shit, they help me. I think the "certification" is where they're losing me. Can I not just have my dog? My dog is the shit.

Certified for what? Does the dog conduct therapy sessions? It's a dog. Naturally, it's a good companion. I say that my Boxer is a good companion to help me deal with my PTSD.
