Implying that all girls control themselves. Get real. School is where boys and girls BOTH have to learn to interact in socially acceptable ways. I don't agree with punishing girls for boys' misdeeds, but at the same time, I'm not going to advocate expelling a boy for looking at a girl's butt when she's wearing

They certainly were for me. Being able to manage that distraction in a socially acceptable manner was all part of the high school experience, I think.

No, I think you make a good point. I was looking at this article quite cynically at first. But as you point out, it is important for kids to learn that they have a voice. The cause might not be of national importance, but it's great to see these girls fighting for something they believe in.
