There are a huge population of Burners who are established artists/welders/chemists/etc. who go do installations and party it up every year. Plenty of collectives, companies, and schools offer grants to go work the event. 36 is hardly “old” for Burning Man.

I agree he’s being selfish, and the lack of communication with MVP has doomed an attempt to open up the relationship successfully.
