What’s going on with Dirt Bag? The one from last Thursday night (I think) got removed from the tagged DB page and none of them have been tagged since.

Yeah. Almost all of their top hits are after their first sexier, more “mature” albums were released.

It worked for Ariana Grande, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Demi Lovato, and going way back, arists like Alanis Morissette. They all released a newly “adult” look and sound with an album in their early 20s. It can work.

Mostly I just disagree with the idea that Selena has to “stay in her lane” as a “sexy teen”

Selena Gomez is an adult woman - she’s allowed and should be encouraged to make whatever art she wants. She shouldn’t be confined to a “sexy teen” forever (like, what? ew) just because of her young features.

As a sidenote, this is a pleasant reminder of the early 2000s-era natural boobs + braless look and I’m stoked for that to come back.

3 times... above and below an official promo shot. also, Grand* Slam.

I find Hilary Duff so tense and rude in interviews. I sort of passively liked her because of her fun IG posts and graciousness about all of her Lizzie fans but she’s doing a lot of press for Younger and oof she is hard to watch. She did an interview with Seth Meyers and he struggles the entire time to politely

She’s a victim of some serious and malicious abuse at the hands of RK. Posting naked pictures of someone without out their consent should be covered in the news as a crime, and victims should be given a platform to speak. Whether or not you like her is irrelevant. I’m surprised at how flippant-to-downright-cruel the

I think something this guy (and a lot of commenters) don’t understand is the way fast-casual service corporations put the emotional onus on the employees to really care about their job, their performance, the inventory of the place, etc. etc. because they don’t actually pay you to care about it. Whole Foods,

Again, Starbucks example (or any cafe, really). The goods used per week are used to calculate labor hours, which means how many hours the manager can give to staff. Using a ton of materials is bad, since the profit is lower, which means a smaller labor budget. Half and half is only calculated in how many units used,

A lot of places keep a limited amount of cash in the till, so it’s gonna be a headache for the server/barista/etc. the rest of the day to say “Sorry, I can’t break that” because Joe Schmoe had a $100 he wanted to break. I worked at Starbucks and you have to deposit everything $20 and over into a locked till that only

Stuff like this IS physically/mentally/emotionally taxing on the employees, though, thanks to the way fast-casual is structured. At Starbucks, you’re expected to have 3 drinks in rotation at any time, and much of the week-long new hire training is focused specifically on this. If you’re not pulling shots for one

I dunno. He’s been the hammy, breaking character, giggling guy since SNL. It seems odd to turn on him now for doing what he’s been doing for years. But I think the pivot was after that Trump interview, which I agree was awful and played a big role in the normalizing of Trump. But! I’ve continued to watch his show, and

Wax Britney is the name of Jeff Goldblum’s next kid.

that guy: “you PC loving liberal snowflakes need to grow up”

also that guy: *calls cops on Mykki Blanco for no reason*

This is the second “I’m XYZ age and I’ve never been married!” I’m sure you exist. I said I don’t know anyone (29-35, various industries though a lot of service industry, major West and East coast cities) who haven’t been. Meaning, it’s not atypical or particularly alarming to have had several serious relationships, up

Blaaaah there is so much to unpack in this statement (and in a lot of the weirdly condescending comments below). I think, at most, the lesson there is to learn maybe not to do the act of marriage itself so soon - but I don’t know anyone at 32 who hasn’t been married and divorced or at LEAST engaged. Literally no one.

Nah I am stoked for this. Everybody thought The Beast was at least kinda hot. This was a very formative movie for me, in retrospect.

Oh my first thought was Johnny Depp. erratic behavior, controlling sexual demands, attraction to young/young seeming women, biker looking friends, etc.
