I can’t agree more with your entire analysis. My experience was practically identical growing up. Frankly, I understand and can agree that the prequels are flawed (as are most things in life), but I’m more than ready to be done with all the vitriol around them.

Question: What are the weird “Alien” looking monsters that they’re fighting in the field? (Anyone else get parademon flashbacks, or just me?)

Don’t forget Andy Signore, the creator of Screen Junkies!

I would be 1000% in for an Arrow that just consisted of Oliver and William - like a Batman/Robin situation. The other characters are sort of all blergh for me at this point. Especially the contrived romance between Oliver and Felicity. I loved them at the beginning, but then the CW had to go and make it stupidly

I’m just not confident that this sequel will be able to get anywhere close to the emotion in the first film. Roy’s speech at the end of Blade Runner gets me every single time.

Okay but if you haven’t read the Greek play Lysistrata, I highly recommend it. It sure as hell was fun to read in a Catholic university classroom.

Is it driving anyone else crazy that the new movie has attempted to mash rococo with gothic architecture? It makes me cringe SO hard. Pick an aesthetic and stick to it, please! Or at least let it be kind of consistent!

Buffy gets it. Always.

Having read the entirety of the Divine Comedy, I would argue this could be viewed as an eighth circle of hell offense as well.

I, for the record, love Betty and Jughead together. Although Jughead’s asexuality would have been a really interesting facet of the show, the writers chose to develop his character this way, and I’m happy so far. I love both Jughead and Betty so much, and I have ever since I was a little girl reading Archie comics. I

Josh Groban singing “Evermore” put me in a catatonic state. Disney needs to cast him in something, stat!

Dubious Johnny Depp scandals aside, I am totally here for this movie. YES. Love Captain Jack.

Anyone else cringe at the over-the-top accents of Lumiere and Mrs. Potts? Anyone? Just me?

And also, the character’s name is “Lefou”, which translated means “The Fool”. So that’s problematic as well.
