They make “deplorable” look good. They are truly beyond redemption.

Looking at it again, yeah, this would be my bet too. Good call, I always forget about the Dakota.

After very careful inspection - I believe this to be the most likely of all replies here.

After studying this for hours, I am fairly convinced it is a 2003 to 2012 chevy colorado
I will work up a new rendering tonight after work.

Yep. And this might be from a long distance.

WalMart (at least up here in NWI) has state of the art security cameras in their lots.  Something is not right if they don’t have footage.  I’m pretty sure their security policy of cameras is corporate-wide.

Others have said S-10, which has some plausibility. I think the lighting matches its twin the GMC Sonoma better, especially the location and size of the amber front corner marker.

By the curvature of the door glass reflection, I believe it is a 2000 Dodge Dakota.

Many security DVRs record at very low framerates.  I suspect that the vehicle is not in frame in the previous or next frames.

It could also be a ram. Look at the similarities between the reflection on the glass and running board. Those reflections could be occurring from a street light... We would really need to see what a full size truck, and a compact truck, look like in that spot, from that camera. I think the headlights being lower than

Not perfect but it looks like an early 2000s S10 to me. it would help if they put another vehicle in that same spot from the same camera so we can get a better idea of angle. For example should we be able to see both headlights or is it a straight profile shot, how much of the roofline should we be able to see etc.

Based upon the proportions and the orientation of the parking lights below the headlights, I believe this is a 99-07 GMC Sierra single cab. It appears to have chrome mirrors and smaller-diameter chrome or polished wheels, similar to the truck shown here:

The most I can tell is that this thing has running boards/nerf bars and is not a crew cab.

HCSD should at least make a gif file if they don’t want to release the entire video that this still image was taken.  Feels like they only want limited public help.

So, some have been saying S-10. As others may have said, the front lights give me pause on that. I’m gonna say Isuzu Hombre. The front lights would give that amber level with the main headlights. That rear lamp cut is distinctive, though.

Ford Ranger. I believe it has these particular wheels on it, which only came on the XL with basically no options. So, I am betting this is a super base model Ranger with vinyl seats and crank windows.

Due to the abysmal quality of the photo, I can’t be certain of make or model.

I agree with your point, but just wanted to say that part of what finally made me decide to do away with paid television (satellite as I'm out in the boonies and can't get cable) is the advertising proliferation was just ridiculous. At times it felt like if it wasn't prime time, there was some infomercial or 10

Because they've already spent a fucking fortune on the existing (flawed) technology. It would take another fortune to re-engineer RFID to fix the problem. It is MUCH cheaper to just not talk about it and get your lawyers to swing their dicks around when anybody else tries to.
