Previous record was about 50ft. Getting a top speed in a non-modified truck (aside from safety cage etc) that's towing 16tons in order to get enough distance is hard. We hit it at 70mph which was maxed out for the truck. Ramp design is also critical to avoid too much suspension loading.
I moved to Austin, TX from upstate NY back in 2002 and my parents moved down here around 2010 and when their next door neighbor asked my dad before they left, "Why do you want to move there? It's so hot." and my dad responded, "Ernie, I don't have to shovel heat."

His trophy wife is in Paris shopping again, his mistress is with her boyfriend attending the burning man. He reads a book on Colin Chapman's life while he drinks a glass of a 15k whisky he got from a former friend. He…
(Full Disclosure: I own a Miata and I'm a huge fanboy. Also I'll be attending the Miata launch in Monterey this week and gahhhhhhhhhh I'm excited. This post is full of bias. So much bias.)
I believe the medically accepted acronym is now STI.
OK, betting time. If the 'Vette shows up and wins* I won't comment for two weeks here.
The mechanism of the accident should not have any bearing on whether the safety car is deployed.
No, that would be the Ballistic Unmanned Terminal Tactical Surface Launched Advanced Missile.
