As someone who works in HR, I will confirm everything he said about HR. We're not here for you, Mr. Employee. If we can do something to help you that is not detrimental to the company, then we will. But if something benefits you that hurts the company, forget about it!

As a GN owner myself I can attest to that. Too many times someone has called my car a GNX, and then tried to carry on a conversation about the car thinking they know something about it. As soon as they called it a GNX though I had pretty much tuned them out.

I have to agree. There are many at my employer that still haven't set their 401k up (employer matches 4%). They've been here 2, 3, some of them longer and still "haven't got around to it". I fuss at them every time the topic comes up. Drives me bonkers!
