Not what that means.
Not what that means.
If he had lifted or hit the brakes, he would have been toast. The man knows how to his throttle.
<quietly backs out of room>
I don't have a problem with it. It's not what the car's about. It was never supposed to be the fastest, it was about a feeling. I think a V8 diminshes the balance and feeling. The heart of the Miata is the chassis and body interface, not the engine. We could get the first close to 50:50 with the right people inside…
It's not about power. If you can't go fast with 90 horsepower, 900 ain't gonna help ya. I genuinely feel that. - BH
Marussia could have an extra ten weeks of on-track testing and they'd still be swapping places 19-22 with Caterham.
Honorable mention to Brianne Corn. Winning rally driver, 2011 SCCA Driver of the Year, owner of Brianne Corn Raceway in Maxwell, TX, and an otherwise very interesting, approachable person.
Danica Patrick didn't make the cut.
Some Ford dealer should jump on this. Give them a brand new GT500 for whatever their insurance paid for the ZL1. If they agree to be used in advertising of course. Run that ad 24x7 in that area.
I'm an American, so I do. Many of my racer friends do. Just because the most popular motorsport is NASCAR doesn't mean we don't know others exist. pretty sure the F1 race a few weeks back was a resounding success from a spectator perspective.
Seriously... they NEVER act on anything they say. They say it just to get a rise out of everyone, INCLUDING the media. They are literally the biggest troll of the last half century.
It's happened to me a couple times, I've been flying alone, seated in the middle seat, and there is a couple who were assigned the aisle and the window. I offered my seat up to one of them so they could sit next to each other, which they refused. They then spent the entire flight talking over me, passing things in…
There are thousands of pro car shooters out there. Just go to Flickr and have a look around. If you have a question about a particular photo, send them a massage or hit the forums. The community will give you an idea where to start.
Not glamorous they said. Looks like I've got to drive this damn Lambo around this fucking corner. Again. And again. And a dozen more times. Man my life sucks. Why couldn't I work in a salt mine? Or maybe drive the Honey Bucket truck? Why did I have to choose this?
I did my first track day at MSR houston :)
It's somewhat common knowledge that Mexico tends to have somewhat unfortunately lax safety standards in general.
Oh, and why is that?, I mean Texas has Hennessy, a economy that hasn't been hurt by the recession, Oh and 3 DOLLAR GAS!
Sir you have that the wrong way around, for Texas is 10,000x better than Cali.
This. Newton would be sad that people somehow forgot about the first law. As long as the bike starts out balanced when it is in motion, it will stay that way until it slows down and frictional forces alter its balance. I don't see why this is even being talked about...
I figured there'd be some inertia here somewhere.
