But I do understand it there have been many women I’ve heard say they are voting for hilary because she’s a woman and they are women. I get doing it and I think she didn’t need to say it in that fashion but it’s not that off base either.

I also like the “it’s gotten very quiet in here” line. Calling out the cowardice of Hollywood.
I think he sexually assaulted a child and I don’t think that’s right …
I can’t get over how this is just NOW happening. I can’t remember if I read it or heard it over a podcast but I recently I learned that stores like Wal-Mart and Target haven’t always carried hair products for African-Americans; apparently they just started selling them nationwide less than ten years ago. Like, what…
I think I didn’t notice because he didn’t do what I would do if I was depressed. :P He just got really irritable. He gets mad where I would get sad. But now I know so I'll pay better attention.
Make eye contact. Make hard eye contact. Make Clint Eastwood in the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, eye contact.
I adopted kitties this week! Pet thread?
Hi Jez friends! Happy SNS! This is your Brag Thread. Any grand accomplishments, big or small, you want to brag about but haven’t yet found an acceptable outlet in which to do so? My brag: I posted a Facebook status this week basically stating that supporting Trump for president is condoning the violence that his…
Oh my god my husband was like this with his grandmother. It didn’t occur to him that she wasn’t in her 50s until I pointed out to him that his mom is a year older than my mom and my mom was 40 at the time.
My mother tried hard to hide her age from me starting in her early 30s. When I asked her how old she was after we celebrated my dad’s 35th birthday, she told me she was a decade younger than him. I bought it because I was seven-ish and didn’t realize that that would have meant that my dad knocked up a high school…
Nice. I don’t remember where I was but instead of seat sanitizing foam they had a plastic cover that automatically rolled on and off, being replaced after each use.
My mother was 29 until I lapped her. She played it as a joke, though, and just refused to tell people her age when they asked. I figured it out when I was about 13 and realized on her birthday that hey! she was 29 last year, too!
Just redo the bathrooms. How hard can that be? If it’s a single bathroom like at Starbuck’s put a sign on there like the one above. If it’s a bathroom with urinals, yank them out and put stalls with floor to ceiling doors. Replace any tiny stall or open stall doors with floor to ceiling doors. It’s not rocket science…
Relevant.
I agree 100%. My girls are almost two and four so correct me if I’m wrong but I feel like it would be easier to have these discussions when they’re younger because they question less. Lay the foundation when they still believe everything you say and then discuss the nuances when they’re older, right?
These aren't hard discussions. I've had these conversations with my kids, and the little one is 8. She seems to mostly get it. People who whine about this are either not having ANY substantive discussions with their kids or (more likely) are using that argument as a way to justify keeping their kids in a bubble of…
I’ve already read multiple posts on FB saying they’re digusted they now have to have these discussions with their children. You’re digusted that you now have to discuss being a loving, open minded person with your child? One who respects people and doesn’t judge them for who they are? You’re disgusted by having to…
While I agree 100% with your statements, I’m afraid transgender issues are where Obama and Hillary take a split.
Good. And great sign on the bathroom.
It’s about fucking time.
