^This.

I honestly dont know why you believe that. I don’t see anything that would indicate that my generation... or the preceding or subsequent generations are all that genuinely interested in making the truly tough decisions that need to be made to reverse our current environmental course.

Doubtful. Studies show people become more conservative over time. By the time the new generations start aging into C-suites, they’ll be just as self-centered as those currently in power.

If we’re planning on the Xoomers to save the world, we might as well start the apocalypse now

I hate to be that guy... but AT LEAST, its something....

And a lot of this is being undone by Brazil’s push to develop large areas of the rainforest.

Nah. I’ll belittle Bentley and Bugatti for that token gesture (I hope they can take it!). This is literally the environmental equivalent of a billionaire throwing a quarter at a homeless guy, while stealing his bag of bottles.

Apparently they can’t even sell them new for a million. I’m not sure that bodes well for value retention 5 years down the line.

For less than a million, I could retire to Costa Rica for 20 years and have a rickshaw at my beck and call.

For less than a million I can have a McLaren and a GTR Alpha 16.

Exactly. It’s largely the same car with some performance bits and new interior and bodywork. Being a “special limited edition” is worth something, but not a nearly 10x multiplier on the sticker price.

Retouched or not that’s a lot of scratch for a car that debuted for under $70k, over a decade ago...

I never thought much of the badging, but I always figured the really crucial stuff like switchgear would be aimed more clearly at the audience.

This always confuses me as well. Japan uses a weird mix of Japanese lettering and english lettering in media as well. Hell, even some older Japanese pop songs I listen to have english verses randomly placed in the song.

It absolutely normal. If you notice, all JDM cars use English badging, that follows to the inside of the car.

Fair enough.

Take one for the team.

I would... but I so hate.

Start buying annoying crossovers, please.

October 2012, I bought a Suzuki Kizashi. November 2012, Suzuki ceases selling cars in the U.S.
