Do you think deals just magically appear without warning? The agencies invest time and money to help make them happen, because they decide a client is someone who can be made a star. Having a PI on staff, would be part of the decision-making process. Part of determining whether the actor is worth spending time and

Why would they do it after the client signed the contract with Disney? What would be the point of that?

I mean, one answer about when to use a PI would be, “When your client is potentially signing a multi-multi-million dollar contract with Disney.” A company with a PI on staff would presumably have criteria for when to call on their services and how much time/effort they’d want spent on a particular case. And

If you want to know what the make-up looked like, google “Fayum Mummy” and you’ll get some pretty realistic depictions of Roman-era Egyptians, their hair-styles, and what make-up they wore. Generally, they loved to play up the eyes. So heavy on the kohl and eyeliner.

Bruce Campbell did voice work for this movie. That’s not a cameo but it was nice he was included.

No, it was established in Quantumania. Which, sadly, did not have even one Kang appear as a frog.

You’re serious? Unlike the police, a PI doesn’t need actual evidence that stands up in a court of law. So the PI could just say, “Yeah, so I talked to his ex’s. Lots of suspicious refusal to chat with me. Trying way too hard to tell me he’s great. Sketchy. Ask him what’s going on there.”

Well since they established that all the Kangs look like him, that seems unlikely.

Have a PI on staff.

If it’s not, I’m even more surprised she’s not getting an abortion as it would involve even more complications for her divorce etc.

Well, if we take The Lion in Winter as inspiration, Kendall will enjoy a brief rule to be replaced by Shiv Lackland, who will drastically reduce her family’s power, financial position, and influence over the company, due to her lack of experience and general incompetence.

I think, to me, one of the interesting and darkest elements of the show is it portrays how love can be sincerely felt yet meaningless. I believe Logan loved his kids, but did that actually matter in the end? Did it influence his decision-making, inspire to be a decent parent, really benefit them in the slightest? Of

Didn’t the doctor say there were irregular blood tests that made them recommend an amnio?

Yeah, I think one of the weird elements of their relationship is that it’s transactional but they both feel emotionally safe knowing that. So the transactions blend with affection

Logan is perfectly capable of lying about loving someone, so that’s not an especially strong argument. Also, as Logan was an emotionally abusive user who valued the love he felt for others as much as a half eaten sandwich, whatever “love” he might have felt was meaningless. That’s why Kendall wants his respect and

It just occurred to me that poor Connor got served the horrible cake again on the day he lost a parent.

I mean, isn’t the entire point of Kendall’s arc that he postures as a leader but actually doesn’t have the actual ability?

Kind of simple-minded take. He knows he needs his family’s wealth and he enjoys their company sometimes because he does care about them. And thus they have a limited ability to hurt him emotionally.

Gosh. It’s almost like he’s self-aware interpersonally but not professionally. Almost…

I guess I always thought Connor was self-aware. His one strength was that he was never actually vying or expecting love from his family. And it meant that they could only hurt him in practical ways (like withholding money).
