Not really comparable to the “Dinos running around the suburbs” stuff they’ve been pushing for these movies. I guess it depends what kind of dinosaurs and where they get out. I suspect dinosaurs released in winter in South Dakota would be a self-correcting problem (for example).

Neon Demon is from the same director as Drive (Refn). I thought it had interesting things to say about the exploitation of young girls in the beauty/modeling industry and said it in fascinating, visually arresting ways, but ultimately didn’t quite land. Definitely worth seeing though. Keanu has a small role in it.

Yeah, but those little ones aren’t going to get off the island. Unless another evil corporation starts marketing them as pets, I guess.

Apparently, if a tiger or buffalo got loose, they’d send one guy with a taser to deal with the problem…

Honestly, would dinosaurs be an ecological disaster if let loose? Wouldn’t they almost immediately be wiped out by humans, just like all other large predators? It’s not like we’re afraid of packs of wolves. We actually have to work hard to keep any large predators around at all. Nobody is afraid tigers or polar bears

You agreed with the OP’s paragraph? So you think people only mock their equals? That’s idiotic.

It’s because the big hats they wear make it hard for others to see the screen.

I’d say Last Duel is partially a response to how rape was handled in Rashomon by removing the ambiguity and making it a story about how the patriarchy silences and further victimized victims both individually (the men themselves) and socially (the justice system).

Random because it has nothing to do with what the OP was saying. OP made a pretty simple and silly statement. And then you began ranting because I used the word “bully”. A word you find so triggering that you needed to lecture everyone on its alleged overuse? Even though I wasn’t using it in the way you find so

The Tolkien one could potentially be quite interesting. Though it’s hard to know for sure since they’ve been so cagey about what time period it covers.

I guess WoT is a bigger property than S&B, but they are probably spending less than HBO’s attempt to somehow revive GoT or whatever absurd amount of money amazon spending on the Tolkien extravaganza (still wildly curious what that’s going to be about). Interesting how much Amazon is investing in fantasy.

Is it? Chive did phenomenal in the first challenge and phenomenal in the showstopper. Jurgen was mediocre in the first and ok in the show stopper. You really think it’s mysterious that they kept the person who did amazing twice?

So you randomly commented in this thread because … you think people shouldn’t hurt your feelings by saying other people are wrong? Maybe you need to grow up a little and realize that being wrong and having the apologize isn’t the end of the world.

If you don’t agree with OP why are you here yammering in this comment thread? How is your comment relevant? Did you get lost? Again, what are you babbling about? Bill Maher making a joke that hurt your fragile feelings?

Robb’s story? I guess. But Dany’s story seems way more like a combo of Paul’s and maybe Alia’s story.

Except Chigs’ tasted way better.

Well then I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree since I’m not seeing how that’s a bad statement about flavor since the cherry is literally right there in each of the entremets. So why would it matter if Jurgen didn’t get told the same thing? They barely had anything to say about Jurgen’s flavors.

Not if you knock it out of the park with the showstopper, which Chigs apparently did.

Again, as I repeatedly said, they only had good things to say about everyone’s flavors. They had the least good to say about Jurgen, who was also the bottom of the first challenge. And I’m not sure why you think a comment about how Giuseppe needed an ingredient that he definitely included, would hurt him?

Not sure what you mean there. The elves, we know, built enormous cities that would require immense technical and engineering prowess. The Numenorians, in addition to their cities, made advancements in sea travel and spread colonies all over (incidentally destroying forests all over middle earth to feed their voracious
