I drive a beater miata that can handle better than 99.9% of the cars on the road, but that doesnt mean I take every corner at twice the speed limit. It might not look like something YOU would drive on the street but I'd make this my daily driver if I could afford one! It even has a trunk! Most bad ass grocery getter evar!

They need to make one you can build using suspension and drivetrain from a Miata (or other inexpensive sports car) to keep it cheap. Others are doing it with some success. But this looks 10^10 times better.

They should build a Jalopnik special version with a straight 6 turbo diesel.

Manual retractable hard top is an awesome idea. I know the previous powered one wasnt very heavy so this would save even more weight. Best of all worlds! I want one.
