I think Nintendo didn’t want them during the GameCube days, and by the time they were more accepting of mature content, the hardware was way too far behind for Rockstar to even bring their games over. Switch is the first time that Nintendo is both willing to allow a Rockstar (technically Team Bondi, but shut up) game…

The whole reason it started was because someone kept spamming porn in the comments sections of multiple sites. That’s why images are blurred in the greys too. How else do you recommend stopping a situation like that from happening again?
I think it’s partially a result of targeting the Vita. Really, it feels more like an upgraded version of the DS remakes of FFIII and IV.
They literally only care about themselves. They want the title and the prestige and the lobbying money that comes with being a member of Congress. They never cared about helping the country.

Licensing. WB owns the LOTR rights now, meaning that EA literally can’t sell these games. Same reason that Rare-developed Goldeneye remake never got released.
