I’d rather have a good video game.
You know there’s still plenty of games out there that don’t have these sorts of mechanics, right?
Literally nothing about that involved political correctness. The defenses are being shot down simply because it has become obvious that the game at launch was not finished, and what people interpreted the game’s “vision” to be was not what the actual vision of the developers was. I am not saying that the developers…
What the actual fuck are you talking about? Where did I ever mention political correctness, or that they should stop working on the game?
One year, but yeah. This is stuff they at least implied, if not outright stated, would be in the game at launch. What has become increasingly obvious over the past year is that NMS was not finished, and most of the defenses of the game as a “minimalist experience” or whatever are being shot full of holes by the game’s…
I assumed a lot of the other art was plagiarized, but that was the example they used in the video and it’s probably the most obvious example.
Well, there’s also the fact that the engine barely holds itself together most of the time, leading to freezing, crashing, and corrupted save data at an unacceptable rate for a developer who’s been doing this sort of thing for over a decade now.
I think that’ll be how they work around it. The limited lifespan is a side-effect of giving the Nexus 6s super-strength, and since Deckard doesn’t have that, he has a normal human lifespan.
Except Tyrell tells Batty that it’s impossible to extend their lifespans, even going so far as to say “You were made as well as we could make you.” So it seems like the 4-year lifespan is actually a design limitation, and the line about it being a “fail-safe device” is just fed to the public to puff up their public…
Probably not. The former Gawker sites have always had frequent spelling and grammatical errors; I’m pretty confident there’s no dedicated copy editor, or if there is, they’re really bad at their job.

Here’s an official trailer for that new fighting game from Akira Co., the company behind the Street Fighter EX series.
Considering it is basically just a PS3 game, the Switch could probably match PS4 pretty easily. Which isn’t as impressive as it sounds, since the PS4 and PS3 versions are identical outside of resolution, but still.
The PS4 is the best-selling console of this gen so far, and has sold twice as much as the XBone. I’d say that releasing as a PS4 near-exclusive is still a pretty large audience. And even if it released on every single platform simultaneously, it would never go fully mainstream. It’s an anime-style JRPG with turn-based…
Again, at least half of development was spent on the PS3 and it was originally announced as a PS3 title. They probably felt an obligation to release it on PS3 despite knowing the sales wouldn’t be great. Besides, it’s not the first time a Persona game showed up on old gen hardware well into the new gen.
Think you meant to reply to MacAttack222. He’s the one who said the performance was bad.
It was originally announced as a PS3 title, and I assume at least half of development was spent on PS3 hardware anyway, so they probably figured they might as well finish that version too. You have to keep in mind they started development back in 2011/2012, right after Catherine finished. The game was supposed to come…
