If I hit someone for being rude to my wife she’d be pissed at me. Especially since my wife, like Jada Pinkett Smith, is perfectly capable of telling someone to shut their mouth if they wanted to. I’ve heard some people head that point off with she can’t do anything without looking like an “angry black woman” with all

“It’s already weird how much time Zelenskyy appears to have to consistently roll out new video messages”

I wouldn't hit someone over it, period.

I’m really surprised by the general reaction here! If you say “I think it’s never ok to attack someone but....” then you think it’s sometimes ok to attack someone, full stop. What did Will accomplish here? His wife was upset at a joke that the world would have forgotten in 30 seconds but now it, and the whole

Having an AOL account has come full circle now and is actually kind of a hipster thing. I think there was an article in Slate, of all things. Always the risk with being old fashioned.

I’d recommend walmart+, it’s their subscription service but it gives you ”exclusive access” to some sales, in particular PS5s. You can’t use the free trial, you actually have to buy a month but it’s basically 13 bucks for easy mode, at least for me. Make the walmart account and monitor for an upcoming drop then buy

For what it’s worth my first time trying to get a PS5 was last week and I got two (I got the walmart+ one then got the email for sony direct - I asked if any friends wanted one and someone did so I gave that a shot too)

Personally, Sony acquiring studios to make a particular type of game I’m not interested in is...not very concerning to me. I think it actually shows that Sony has the sense to not try and repurpose its big-time single-player studios. Shoot, they acquired Housemarque right after Returnal was released less than a year

Are you suggesting that Elden Ring is not a refined collection of things you’ve seen and done in other games (for example Demon’s Soul, Dark Souls 1, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Bloodborne, for just a totally random sample)?

I snagged a PS5 on last week’s Sony Direct drop, I spend all day at work anticipating playing...only to end up going to bed around 8:30 PM as soon as my kid does. Guess that’s worked out in my favor at least a little!

As explained in the article this is almost certainly a bug so I guess you didn't read it very closely or at all. That said, I see nothing wrong with them including content that’s unlikely to be found by a single player on their own.

Lol everyone knows console games don't have bugs, right?!

It’s the game’s fault, but it’d be smart for Microsoft to enforce standard behavior for Windows shortcuts on games it has in Gamepass. One thing about consoles is they have a big checklist of stuff before you can sell the game on it go make it sure it behaves like it should, and for system stuff that behavior is

That's annoying! I wonder if they're annoying about it because they don't want people quitting in the middle of pvp?

What advantage does that have? I'm guessing more reliable alt tab? Any performance difference? I always just do full screen.

Alt-F4 sends the SIGINT signal, and it is absolutely possibly for the developers to botch how it’s handled and kill the program in the middle of a write operation. Handling shutdown gracefully is such an elementary part of development it would be pretty bad if they didn’t though. I’m guessing it’s akin (if not the

I don’t like Musk but SpaceX has been an important part of space technology for over a decade. Tellingly it seems like he needs to stay more hands off there than with Tesla. Your interpretation of the “privatization” of space isn’t really correct. NASA has been launching payloads into space for decades on “private”

I prefer in-flight, but looking over someone's shoulder at their screen, without sound.

And if you could run those games on Steam via Proton, having game pass work on their Deck would be a pretty big thing

She won an Oscar and the movie was massively profitable. Clearly none of that mattered.
