that was pretty cute. i can see people get annoyed by Toad if hes like that the entire movie though. got to hear more of Pratts accent in play. it still sounds off, but its not really that bad. 

God, the orchestral versions of the classic mario themes sound incredible. This movie might be genuinely good

It’s pretty funny that the objections here are either that they shouldn’t have introduced this character or they should have done it much earlier in the film. Seems kinda like people just want to hate this and will seize any reason!

I think he meant her story WITHIN the movie, not overall for all time

The writing and directing here, to say nothing of the voice acting, is by people who truly understand how these characters clicked in their original classic comics, and deftly updated it for modern times AND kept it within the bounds of family friendly entertainment.
