The whole thing was pure brilliance. Giving the Lower Deckers a brief introduction and not just having Boimler pop up was well done. That opening sequence LOL. Pike’s growing frustration was hilarious and I LOVED the scene where Ortegas and Chapel mess with Boimler.

This is sarcasm, right?

Can we just a reboot on Wheel of Time? I’d be ok with all the same actors, just change up literally everything else.

I could really use some Fitzsimmons in my life right now…

Damn. I know it’s a kid show and I’m 40-something, but Prodigy was really starting to grow on me.

I think it comes down to relevance. Satine was a peacemaker in a society of warriors. Her political dream was essentially a failed experiment followed by a galactic coup followed by a genocide from which the pacifists did not survive, only the warriors did. And not many of them.

AMAB?

But it’s not like she hasn’t ever. Don’t get me wrong, Rosario Dawson is fantastic in the role, I was just curious as to whether the voice cast was even given consideration.

I was curious as to why they didn’t cast the voice actors for the live show. That worked out really well for Katee Sackhoff, and Ashley Epstein’s cosplay is a dead ringer for Ahsoka. In fact, most of the voice cast bore strong physical resemblances to the characters, so I kind of thought Filoni had planned that from

It’s baffling how they messed this up so badly. I don’t mind changes to source material, but every change they made in this production caused the show to suffer. It wasn’t just bad on its own, it was bad for the genre in general.

Animal is my spirit animal.

Sure… just like the Cylons “had a plan”.

If they follow the new canon books about the outcome of the Remnant/New Republic conflict, they’ve got a lot of ground to cover in one film. From what I recall there is a massive cast and a number of plots rolling around on both sides.

GIVE ME KAI KIRA RUNNING BAJOR.

The Reckoners doesn’t take place in the Cosmere, just FYI. It’s a separate universe.

I know this sounds silly now, but I never liked the guy. There was just something off about him... Everyone was singing his praises after Loki but I just kind of thought “hmm... there’s something wrong here.”

The dragons kidnapping stuff was to show Bo-Kate earning a new badge of respect in the Watch. They’re moving toward her using them to either a) retake Mandalorian (which, who would want to at this point?) or b) conscripting them in some larger conflict against the Empire.

I simply don’t understand how the Orville has stalled so badly. McFarlane is a heavy hitter and could probably bankroll a 4th season with the change in between the cushions of his sofa.

I wouldn’t say I’m fatigued, since I love this genre, but I admit that I didn’t make it out to see Qunatumania and probably won’t make it to this one either. My TV is huge and gorgeous and I just prefer to wait for it to hit streaming. Plus, my SO doesn’t like comic book movies and paying $20 for him to see it in IMAX

Shaw was effing hilarious in that scene. I didn’t really like him much as a character until that moment, and now I want a whole show about him.
