Me too!  I thought it was so strange that I was missing so many lines of dialogue.  I don’t think it’s the accents, I think it’s the sound editing.  I swear there are some lines that just sound like someone mumbling into a sock.  I had to replay them two or three times before finally just turning on the cc. 

That flying fight shot/thing/abomination looked so bad. I had to rewind just to understand what was supposed to be happening. I get what they were going for but it could’ve used a few more hours of post-production.

I freaking love this show. It’s so lovingly crafted on every level, from the writers to the actors to the directors. It’s like they don’t even know how to hit a false note.

Completely agree. So far its been all about deconstructing the idea of Picard with allegations of hubris, arrogance, and Space Alzheimer’s. I’ve enjoyed the spectacle but the execution seems so botched, and killing Hugh for shock value was just so dumb.   

So, umm, I don’t have a vagina, but are we just breezing over that this company is selling snake oil? Because ancestors coming to you in dreams with business ideas and herbal remedies for vaginal infections sounds... questionable.  

Ahsoka’s confrontation with Vader still gives me chills.  Not just a great Star Wars moment, a great storytelling moment for all genres.
