You know, I never did watch Mr Turner. I worked at a cinema when it was playing and thought it was some type of rudimentary middlebrow drama judging by the people who turned up to watch it.

I played the demo. I thought it seemed like an interesting idea wrapped in a story that didn't have enough independent thought to it.
Good explanation.
GravBone is great and, more to the point, free!
There's definite similarities but a major difference is that Jazzpunk had a really on-the-nose approach to its humour. QuadCow is much more subtle despite its clearly defined eccentric style.
Fair review but you might have to explain what the 'political subtext' is because I didn't get any of that. It felt more like a joyful romp than anything political.
I fall into this bracket too.
I would but I enjoy turning up without having decided what I want to borrow.
Everytime I go to the library I look for American Pastoral. Alas, it's never there.
Did anybody else think Firewatch was too short? I remember being less than thrilled at its attempt to portray how the vainglorious actions of Henry and Delilah had driven them to solitude without reverting to any sense of introspection. Moments of revelation sort of just come and go (mostly between their…
Out of all three films, I'd say Tasty of Cherry is the best. I think you nail the reason why in this piece too: it's a parable, a complex 'nondenominational' movie about human thought and emotion. Probably Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of The World but then again I could have named pretty much any Murakami novel.
I'd say he has broader appeal. He's become a bit like a Japanese Nicholas Winding-Refn.
Ya I'm witcha. Looks like a lot of fun but if anybody is talking about this game next month I'll be surprised.
I'm very interested in this but time is a factor right now so it's going on the back-burner and I'm sure I'll complete it right around March, 2018.
So, is it a bit like a Wes Anderson movie?
Nintendo sometimes reminds me of that kid in that TV show who wants to show he's 'grown up' so dresses up as the guy from the Karate Kid. Then his peers laugh as he parkours off of the school cafeteria roof wearing a bandana.
Good shout. I reckon some people will also be indifferent about it.
That sounds generous. Review makes sound more like a straight up 4/10. Direct-to-VHS. Will be written about in 5 years time as a 'cult' game and gather around 15 responses saying it wasn't great, but that people had a decent enough time with it.
