From what I’ve noticed, not nearly as much, and crowds usually only congregate when there’s a raid going on. But if there’s a gym with semi-frequent raids on private property, I can imagine the owners would still be getting annoyed.

When the game first came out, a local library had 4 or 5 Pokestops, and the place basically turned into a festival. Most of the front lawn was occupied by people with pop-up canopies and chairs, with hammocks stretched between some of the trees, and the crowds persisted for the entire time they were legally allowed to…
Hoo boy do I hear you on that one. My parents always seemed to find it hilarious when I was excited or upset over anything. And now they wonder why I don’t call or visit....
Not making fun of people’s laugh. I’ve literally seen the joy leave a person’s face after making a joke about someone’s laugh. Makes me sad thinking about it.
I was mostly ignored by the restaurant until I threatened to file a police report, at which point they gave me an insincere apology and a $25 gift card to make me go away. So basically, nobody cared in my case except me. :/
Wouldn’t you like a side of sexual harassment with your germ transmission?
That’s what I thought, but apparently Chase doesn’t agree. If I agreed to enter into the transaction then they won’t get involved, even if the other party changes the terms on me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If this doesn’t resolve it or you lost the receipt, contest the charge with your bank. They’ll contact the merchant on your behalf (so you can avoid the awkward conversation) and hopefully refund the disputed amount.
I got screwed in that they decided to screw around with withholdings so what used to be more than adequate no longer is and now I have to come up with a large chunk of money to pay what should have been covered during the year, plus I used to get a larger deduction because of the personal exemption and now I no longer…
My personal tax liability only went down by a tiny fraction, and if my income changed I didn’t notice it, so it can’t have been more than a couple dollars.
The roughly $5 per paycheck that I got last year does not balance out the hundreds of dollars I now owe the government.
Repeating what I have said multiple times in this thread: my total tax liability went down an infinitesimal fraction while I got screwed because I couldn’t claim the personal exemption anymore. I don’t use the standard deduction and haven’t in probably a decade, because when I itemize I can claim a higher deduction.
My tax rate went down only infinitesimally while I lost out on other deductions that were previously available to me. I do not consider my refund a "bonus" in any way, shape, or form, but I do believe that I shouldn't have to keep messing with withholdings every year because the government wants to be a bunch of…
I answered this in other threads, but my tax rate went down infinitesimally while I lost deductions that were previously available to me.
My effective tax rate went down about .1% and I have to pay a good sized chunk of money. Pretty sure the couple extra dollars I got last year doesn't make up for what I have to pay now.
No, it’s not about the refund. It’s about the fact that they removed the personal exemption, which screwed me over.
Exact same reasons here. It sucks.
My tax rate went down just a tiny fraction (like .1%) but it looks like what really screwed me over was the loss of the personal exemption, which was making a significant difference for me before.
Oh man when I worked at a movie theater I freakin’ loved kids like the one you were. It seriously made my day every time an adult would tell me their child was young enough to get in for free and said child would indignantly reply, “I am not two! I’m three and a half!”
