I’m not sure what the thought process is, but I love her so it’s all good. I’ve also loved what Michaela Watson’s been doing lately. And I’d watch Cecily Sharp, Kat McKinnon and Aidy Bryant do anything. Leslie Jones and Vanessa Byer and Sasheer Zamata too. ( I can watch them do SNL but I’d rather not) :(

1. this is great, we really need realistic portrayals of Middle Easterners on American TV (i.e. not where they’re terrorists). it’ll probably help people understand them better and realize...gasp...we all might be more alike than they realize

I attended a Rubio town hall last Thursday in NH. He’s an empty suit spouting platitudes like a Chatty Cathy doll. Pull the string, and out comes one of a dozen answers. There is no more to Marco Rubio than this.

“No, I just believe marriage is between one man and one woman.”

‘Well,’ replied Mr. Kierstead, ‘that’s your belief.’

I so so so wish he had followed that up with “My beliefs are different. Why should I have to live my life by your beliefs?” I know nothing is going to change people like Rubio and what they believe, but I wish the dialogue focused more on the right literally forcing

I thought Rubio was gay?

“I respect your view,” the politician said, “patting Mr. Kierstead on the shoulder and starting to walk away.”
