Well written; I liked your approach here. Felt like I saw it without having to sit through it. Good work.

Can’t wait! Though even after you learn their take, not so easy to gather a room full of academy-award winners to regularly critic your pitch, animatics, and multiple rough cuts over the course of five years to hone your vaguely promising one-liner into a masterpiece.
A physical book, while a pain to carry, does wonders. I was traveling through Europe during the 2008 election and was reading Barak Obama’s Dreams From My Father. It was an instant conversation starter! Also a terrific read.
Oh you all hate it now on Keyllanne, but on Pandora Boxx, it would be fabulous!
Make sure you’re getting the right set... it should be Simon & Schuster published and depending on what you’re getting, all the sets for a given language will cost much more than that. That’s why Igo the Library route. Good luck!
I’ve done Michel Thomas too and think he’s GREAT - but he only does a handful of languages, albeit the big Romance ones. Also depends on what you’re learning for and how deep you want to go. I think MT is perfect for brushing up High School Spanish or French before a trip... While Pimsleur is more in depth. And it…
Duolingo is great, but the real winner is PIMSLEUR! I’ve been teaching myself Italian on and off for years and finally made massive progress with Pimsleur. It forces you to speak, which is the goal. Additionally, I have a job where I travel to foreign countries and I’ve used it to learn basic Hungarian. I got huge…
I recently read a good trick which I’m using and not going back - instead of primer, I’m using a Serum with silicone-y ingredients. So it does the same thing for prepping face, but has good stuff in it for your skin. I’m using - and loving this Oil of Olay product: http://www.olay.com/en-us/skin-care-products/regen…
So we don’t insist on fair and accurate elections out of fear of extremists? Then why have an election at all?
I’ve given Packing Cubes as presents - 2 years later my Aunt thanked me for changing her life!
No. It’s how 2004 felt. By then we knew Bush was a fucking idiot and John Kerry would be a good, if boring, president. It wasn’t called until the wee hours and no one could believe it. Including some of the same dumbness Clinton re-fucking-hired in 2016.
After years of suffering with gym & dance bags that I HATED, like random cheap bags I found at Marshalls, or like this classic blocky, bulky mens bag https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00158WRJS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which was too too big, too wide, too bulky & unpleasant to carry, I finally…
This! I’m working in a job with a ton of long distance travel right now and this is what others working here suggested and they’re spot on. Recently had a 9 hour ahead difference, and I helped the plan along a bit by trying to adjust my sleep schedule a little in advance.
Finally reporters decided not to air some dumb PR stunt from the effing con man–about time. Now if only they’d confront him with his made up “facts” (aka, whatever he feels like saying at the moment), we might get somewhere.
Hardly any are made in a Women’s Cut! I’ve been trying to buy a Hillary tee for ages, but the “unisex” cut is such a turn off b/c all it means is “cut for a man, but smaller.” Part of me can’t believe no one at HRC HQ thought of this... but I hope it’s only b/c they have more important things to worry about.
OMG this is the first I’m hearing of All-Stars! You just made my day!!!!!!
Actually the hypersensitivity IS the point. The basic concept of a “heads up this book contains some disturbing shit” is totally valid. But I have a friend who is a sophomore at U of Chicago and she’s effing batshit about this stuff and gives absurd examples of how some hypothetical student with a particular trauma…
She was making a show-biz joke about how the members of Kardashian empire will do anything to be on and stay on TV. It fell flat b/c Caitlyn didn’t transition in order to get a show. But still Bette, assumed people would know where she was coming from. She’s not anti-trans, she’s anti-no-talent reality whores.
And I’,m flabbergasted by feminists who naively assume that women who have been raised in a highly restrictive culture actually have the mental or physical “freedom” to choose what to wear. As feminists, shouldn’t we be thinking of the women who are desperate to escape their religious constraints and who have no voice…
Strangely challenging - it’s always harder than it seems like it should be.
