I actually did watch the entire 17 season of SVU last year for the first time. I’d previously seen many episodes, so it wasn’t all new, but, yeah, those early seasons.... Also, yeah, I was so happy when it became just an Olivia Benson vehicle - Stabler was a wrong character for where the show was going.

I’m ok with it sucking if it finally gets the original series onto a streaming service.

It was the product of its time and quite new, fresh, and even risky... for its time. So, when I rewatch it, I kind of go back to that time and the humor still lands (eveb while noting all the outdated references and things that’d be in bad taste today). I think if I started to watch it now for the first time, I’d be

I would murder for a Karen and Rosario spin-off.

Yeah, but Mouratoglou is also self-promoting and self-important, which is kind of a giant turn-off.

There is nothing wrong, but if that person is also guiding you professionally, and is also based in another country that’s a lot of logistics, cultural, and power-dynamic challenges to deal with.

Girl dated BRETT RATNER and her coach who was also not yet divorced at the time. This is not bad at all.

I can asnwer you on Serena Williams - I’ve been covering tennis for some years, and I can tell you Serena is not very private but LOVES fucking with the media, particularly about her personal life. Like, you can see a twinkle in her eyes when she’s lying about it in a press conference. She is also generally elusive

“I’m Real” was Ja Rule not LL Cool J! Also, can you really get cornier than LL Cool J?

9/10 that person is on Tinder (I came upon a married acquaintance there more than once!!)

There was a special on her (maybe VH1) where she talked about that. The putting her life in danger was that shootout... 17 years ago (well, now I feel old)

He was a horrible serial cheater who put her life in danger. She seems to be stuck in her youth romantically, but I hope she at least outgrew THAT!

I noticed those SHOWTIME kids are getting smaller and smaller.

Yes, agreed. Her scenes also didn’t really show that much. The other three were unneeded - SPOILER ALERT - (opening scene, Finn and the wife + one more you haven’t scene yet since you mentioned the gallery was the last episode you saw).

Given the good performance, this is pretty ugly timing for Amazon, given the election results.

The Denise character specifically pointed out that there were no black staffers involved in the Black Panthers story, which leads to an ‘aha’ moment for Patti the main character. I agree it’s not much, but I felt like this was almost purposeful (while not necessarily a good choice). I almost felt like the portrayal of

There were a few gratuitous sexual scenes, the last one being especially awkwardly filmed in some places. It was one of my few issues with the show, besides a couple casting choices.

Agree, it was a very surprising scene. I assumed he just wanted to sleep with her, but this was so unexpected and much better because it was degrading without being an obvious sexual advance. It was such a good choice by the writers.

As a complete aside - Eleanor Holmes Norton is the long-standing District of Columbia representative in Congress (but doesn’t have a vote because no one thought actual people would live in DC). She continues to be extremely relevant today. She’s pretty awesome. I actually didn’t know she led this lawsuit until well

Well, he can’t talk to people of color, but I guess there aren’t many of them where Sanders comes from in Vermont.
