As some currently in a marriage in which my depressed partner has *completely* checked out mentally, I would LOVE to have a weekly check-in and discuss how we had interacted that week. It doesn’t sound hard; it sounds like intentional, mindful communication. And obviously it’s working well for them.

I appreciate the fact that this experience helped you. However, when people say something “saved their life” I’m always a bit dubious.
There’s no way of knowing what would have happened to you had you not gone to this school. You may have had some other profound experience that changed your life for the better. You

It’s somewhat refreshing that he asked for, rather than demanded, special treatment, and (apparently) didn’t make a fuss when the answer was “no.”

Apparently, Harry hates the term “Megxit” because it implies Meghan was the one who wanted to leave the U.K., though it is a convenient pun. Perhaps “Susxit”

Regardless, that’s not a hard boiled egg.  That’s a medium boiled egg at best.

Im right there with her. I despise the look of high waist. Even someone who is stick thin will still look like they are 20lbs heavier with a massive gut when wearing them. They are just not flattering on most bodies.

That’s been going on for ages and always creeps me out. Hope none of them are life changing because I can’t bring myself to read any “The X’s Wife/Daughter” books.

The odd thing to me is that everyone already has a Green Card. That’s the toughest point to get to in the immigration maze. After you get the GC, then it’s a matter of waiting (5 years for most; 3 years if married to a US citizen), keeping your nose clean and then filling out a bunch of paperwork/doing the in-person

I’ve learned that the best jobs tend to be ones where they’re just giving you money to do a job and go home. Every place I’ve worked that had a “mission” or some kind of lofty goal was an absolute dumpster fire, and then tried to guilt everyone into accepting shitty conditions, treatment, or pay because it was “for

Just got back from a Patagonia CM factory in Vietnam. Can’t say the name, but conditions were rad, they had child care and overall experience was great.

Here’s my essay: I also was friends/roommates with a magnetic pathological liar for several years. It was bad and shitty. When I was 23 I told her I was moving out and that she should get therapy because no one could trust a damn thing she said. Last I heard she had a kid and I felt sorry for it. The end.

If there’s a lot of outcry about how much Warren in particular, or the women on stage in general, spoke, it’s probably indicative of studies I’ve read that find that men feel like women are ‘everywhere’ and ‘in the majority’ and talk more than anyone else as soon as we tip over 30% of attendance at something or 30% of

Can I ask what exactly happens at a 3 day wedding party/retreat?

Also, whoever wrote this article doesn’t seem like a big-chested girl who runs. Only one of the bras above looks like it would support running.

As a frequent consumer of BBC shows, this is one of my favorite jokes in the whole series.

and before that, Ryan Reynolds

That Romani tours sketch was such a pleasant surprise as I initially assumed that it would lean on some lazy tropes or something, but then it went in to a widly different and far more entertaining direction.

Or maybe we all need to look at Missy Elliot, 10 years ago, and STFU.

I always tip 20% unless the waitperson is aggressively bad (and not for things our of their control), but the percentage has kept climbing up, no? I remember 15 years ago reading articles that said 15%, then 15-18, then 18-20, and now a firm 20%. Overall this means a couple bucks difference and I’ve never argued

Funnily enough, I had the same opposite reaction to acts like Hanson. It was cool to like Hanson for a hot year and then you had to hate their guts because they were banal, “not real”, and “some stupid boy group”.
