It didn’t hit JFK’s leg. It hit Connally’s as its trajectory was altered passing through Connally’s torso.

We were getting positively stomped by the Empire last night up until a friend I was playing with turned on his ace pilot skills and wrapped up both AT-ATs what had to be seconds before them reaching their goal. People were literally jumping up and down by the trenches celebrating as he zipped around the last one.
