I used to believe some benevolent, omnipotent, omnipresent being created us all and as long as we’re good and praise him and his son we can go live at his magical floating sky castle for all eternity after we die, along with all our dead friends and family.

Microsoft lost that fight ages ago back when they were trying to stop hardware manufacturers from removing Internet Explorer to preload Netscape Navigator whilst also facing constant international scrutiny for monopolization.

You aren’t far off in that observation.

Similar experience here.

Yeah this seems to be a dude getting mobbed in an all-out brawl defending himself and pushing people back. Then he comes back later in defense of another individual and throws people off of that person too. Not sure what else he was supposed to do there. Run off? Easier said than done in sand with people chasing you

Dealing with human sexuality is endlessly amusing. It’s enjoyed by almost literally everyone yet practically demonized by a significant portion of the population. It’s both encouraged and discouraged. People simultaneously push for its acceptance and protest its use/acknowledgement. Ain’t it grand!?

Why does the guy playing the demo never look down while running? It’s like watching my dad play an FPS. I know they were probably trying to minimise camera movements but it looks a little silly just walking off ledges without looking where you’re going.

Personally, I see one worthwhile game on that list: Red Dead Redemption. Everything else has either limited replayability, a sequel out on next gen systems, or a PC port already.

The game looks perfectly fine to me. This reboot (I feel as though people are missing that point) seems closer to the fabled initial vision of Doom than anything else has come yet. There’s nothing wrong with the decidedly realistic approach to the lighting, textures, sound effects, etc.

Nah. Me too. Then again I’ve dumped about 50 hours into ARK: Survival Evolved. I’m a sucker for that crap.

There’s no way it would be pure Android. It’ll be customised to all hell with some Blackberry UI. Hell, I’d even expect it to be a step beyond a simple launcher. Something closer to the Kindle treatment.

Blackberry’s way of saying, “Giving up? BAH! Nonsense! We’ve not yet even begun to give up!”

It won’t be $700. There are full tablets with OLED displays with more tech under the hood than this that don’t hit $700. The display(s) alone won’t jack the price up that high. If I had to put an estimate together at launch, I’d say maybe $500 at the very top end.

Well who knows, there may be Rift games for XBO eventually. They’d have to be built specifically for it, though. The current consoles have a hard enough time rendering single feeds of today’s games at decent resolutions/framerates. Merely formatting these eye-candy-laden games for the rift would require significantly

I hate to be that guy but, as is generally the case when people start sentences that way, I’m going to be that guy right now.

You’re absolutely right in stating you shouldn’t underestimate laziness. I’m far too lazy to switch from Spotify to Apple Music. I don’t care how pretty it is.

A possibly drunk, speeding driver sideswiped me on interstate 10 and shoved my car off the road into a barrier by an off-ramp. 10 seconds earlier and that would have been pushed off the high-rise. 3 seconds later and that would have been pushed into a cement pillar between the off-ramp and I-10. So maybe you’re right,

I can almost hear my 780 weeping quietly as I watch this video. Nvidia is not making it easy for me to wait for those Pascal cards. I might just have to pull the trigger on a 980 Ti.
