From a technique standpoint, you'd be surprised how closely this sort of thing mirrors real world photography. You still have to consider and control many of the same things in the game - lighting, focus, depth of field, composition, balance, etc. Hell, even focal length can be simulated.

Of course. Everyone knows gator feet spin freely. So the gator jets or gator propellers would still pull the gator forwards regardless of how the gator feet spin. And its gator wings would still generate gator lift.

It kinda does. It has functional vehicles, more crafting, and lights and zombies that obey the laws of physics and don't magically go through walls/floors.
