Yeah, I’m pretty sure they bit off way more than they could chew. Should have started with a normal car, that was that dependent of a hybrid system, before building a car that was way off the norm AND heavily dependent on a large hybrid system.
It’s when all that darn smoke comes out of them, that they stop working!!
And it’s such great irony compared to their history as a car manufacturer.
Um, didn’t Porsche win last year and narrowly miss the year before because of “teething” issues? I’m pretty sure that would now make them the one to beat.

Not to mention when the essentially tube chassis ‘RX8' (same chassis of the 6) was running a (20B) triple rotor engine.
And in the end, new technologies are created...yeah, it sucks that we can’t have that anymore.
The VMI engine has a myriad of issues leading to engine failure. The largest one I’ve seen comes from the cog gear breaking it’s weld on the cam drive and destroying the engine.
