@mat: Oh since you are probably wondering. I actually don't think evolution is a barrier to God's existence. Unlike many Christians. I feel philosophy pretty well makes that clear. I do feel if evolution is to continue in being taken even semi-seriously that it needs some major reworking on the macro-evolution

@mat: I understand what FUD is, I just didn't understand what you meant by it in the context of your statement. Were you just poking some good natured fun at PHD programs? Which I would actually say isn't totally unjustified.

@Solus: Sorry, I didn't catch the sample size for some reason. Though I personally still stand by my second statement. Though you may be right.

@mat: Lol, I dunno what exactly you mean. But, I am planning on going into Nanotechnology. Haven't decided if I am going for the engineering side (making new products out of metamaterials) or actually making the nano particles that make up the metamaterials. The former I would be focusing on engineering and

@ryusen: Being a Protestant Christian working toward a PHD I am sadly not too surprised. Academic and intellectual acumen are pretty much considered "ungodly" by most Protestants. Because obviously only atheists run universities and every profs goal is to make you a heathen. **face palms**

@Maave: Yeah, if only because of a small sample size. As well the sample possibly being biased toward certain types of people. Because I have a sneaking suspicion this is often the case with those sights.

Makes me ashamed to be a Protestant. Though on the other hand I think most Protestants who are actually very serious about education AND their faith would not be using a dating site in the first place.

@Shai: I think it has something to do with the fact that a lot of people in America now a days don't really think through why they believe what they believe. Christians being some of the guiltiest of all Americans who believe things blindly. We have become a big country of sheeples. I do not necessarily have all

Riiiight....I promise it costs no more than 20 usd to make that headset. Universities are probably the only places this tech has advanced to a truly useful state.

@Shai: Well, I got them mixed up because I have been on summer break since my last phil class and due to an idiot math teacher am presently in limbo as I was on track to go to WSU. So, I have gotten a little rusty on some of my Phil stuff to be fair. But, either case, I hope there are no hard feelings?

@salaczar: "AND THE CROWD GOES WILD!!!"

@Iccullus: You're right! It is a TAB ambitious seeing as they aren't marketing to the whole GALAXY.

Sounds a tad ambitious don't you think, Samsung?

This isn't fun to say, but we the people are just as much at fault in this as the politicians because we keep voting based on party and not on individual character and merit. Party doesn't and should mean jack squat. If they can do the job with intelligence, character, integrity and fair mindedness, then we should

@Pook365: Interesting because even when Antony Flew was an atheist philosopher and not a deist he sure seemed to think there was a discipline known as Philosophy of Religion. He even thought it was important.

@2late2die: Lol, I try to avoid slinging mud. My Phil teachers taught me that all it does it get in people's eyes and make them angry. Even without it arguments can still get heated. So, i try not to do it. Though I am not immune to being a jerk.

@Shai: I should apologize to you. I was reading "There is a God" by Antony Flew and I realized I was getting Theodicy confused with Natural Theology. Theodicy falls under the philosophical discipline of Natural Theology, Theodicy deals with the problem of evil. So, I was confused on that.

The problem I see is that the "Video Calling Debug" text doesn't seem properly centered for an iPad. Seems more like an iPhone to me.

@Shai: Then it will kill you to know I have never attended a Christian university.
