I always thought the CT200h was the right car with not enough engine choices. It was slow. It should be offered with a 2.0L Turbo, a Hybrid, and something more powerful to stick an F badge on.

I already wanted a classic Mini.

This could have saved Sam DuBose from being murdered.

No LE officer is checking a plate in the 0.92 seconds they can see the front plate.  It’s stupid.  It’s convenience for fat parking enforcement walruses to not have to get out of their carts to get a different angle.

This is literally true, but not terribly convincing as an argument. Police are on stronger footing when it comes to plate readers.

Sounds like the police are salty about losing a small revenue cow, and a probable cause source.

Take a look at half of those cars and say the plates aren’t ugly.  Just because it’s mandated in the country-of-origin doesn’t mean it isn’t ugly.  And honestly, I don’t see why Householder’s getting shit; he isn’t exactly wrong about sensors.

“If that vehicle that you want to stop has no front license plate and you’re not behind the vehicle yet, you’ve got to make some maneuver to get behind that car to pull it over and to get it identified,” Ferrell said.

Euro plates look cool and sleek and sophisticated.

Rest assured, Ohio state troopers pay plenty of attention to us Ohioans, too. We hate the omnipresence of the highway patrol just as much as you do.

The Supra and STi would look ~27% better without a crude piece of stamped metal on the front of them regardless of being true to their homeland.

“If that vehicle that you want to stop has no front license plate and you’re not behind the vehicle yet...

TEXAS NEXT! TEXAS NEXT!

Finally!!! I’ve always been convinced that this was kept as nothing more than an “hello Mr overzealous Ohio police officer, I’m clearly from out of state so pay attention to me” tactic. Driving through Ohio blows and I swear every cop watches every car that doesn’t have a front plate. You’re from far away and you

Definitely some kind of coupe or convertible chassis disguised under a shortened sedan body.

We’re going to have to take it out! All the bits of brain in your head!

I’m just impressed they went through the effort of making those rear doors. The back glass has to only be 6" wide.

It’s not on the road. It’s been parked since he discovered a problem with it other than getting it to the hotel parking lot. He’s about to install new parts. Do you know how fixing things works?
