Nice investigative work, Ace!

I was told by one of my male friends that "Honestly, you're tall and blond and you have a big rack. Most guys aren't gonna want a long term relationship with you, they're gonna want to date you long enough to fuck you."

This is it. The most privileged article ever published on Jezebel. You did it guys. WE did it.

You guys, I literally cried through the entire Glee episode. I think I maybe stopped crying for like two minutes. My eyes are a disaster this morning.

We can disagree about makeup choices, but I will agree with you that Miley does rock the bleached pixie. I would also like to add Pink to the list.

You don't have to take it so personally. Engagement rings are notoriously expensive, so it makes sense to point out a case that significantly deviates from that stereotype.

That's dumb, but Fidelito still completely crushed the other contestants in the end, though. :) Dude knows everything.

Oddly-named craft beer that comes in a can is the bearded funny guy who isn't your type at all but who always meets you at the subway station when you come over and turns out to be great at oral.

I love that show to death but I always thought there was a definite dischord between the lack of money they supposedly had and the life they had. I didn't notice the clothes as much but I always thought that their house was way nicer than a single mom who had not that long ago been living in the 'shed' behind the inn

Lorelai definitely rewore dresses once or twice (Emily actually commented on it in an episode), and she wore a pink trench for I believe the better part of seasons 4 and 5.

I will say, though, I liked that they would have the characters wear the same clothes more than once. I don't remember noticing at the time whether those clothes themselves were high end, but I was in high school and college (actually the same age as fictional Rory) in the Midwest when the show was running, constantly

I feel like the first couple seasons started out so well. Lorelei would definitely repeat outfits, and the 'laundry day' ensemble in the pilot stands out as very realistic. Later in the series, though, I can only assume Rory was being bankrolled by Emily and/or Logan Huntsburger.

YES!!!! I was especially annoyed that they presented her as struggling financially halfway through series 3? 4?, and yet she ALWAYS wore a different COAT when she went out!!!! She must have had about 300 coats, why not sell those and use that money to pay your bills, huh?!

YES! That always drove me nuts. Lorelai wore designer jeans, and Rory would wear Marc Jacobs. With how Lorelai felt about handouts I can't imagine she'd accept her mom buying them both clothes very often, if at all.

Screw Rory, what about Lorelai? How the hell did someone who ran a small inn and was estranged from her well-off parents never wear the same thing twice?

That always bothered me, too! They had some seriously fancy clothing at times. They at least sometimes re-wore outfits/pieces on GG, though—and they supposedly borrowed clothes from each other.

Thank you! I almost rolled my eyes out of my head.

DO GO ON

Yes! I am slowly glaring my way through life. I applaud those people.

2000 and late!
