This seems more like a nature against women than government against women situation. Whether you view it is a good thing or not, we're the ones who incubate and have to deal with any circumstances that may change due to pregnancy. It's why I will never be having children.

@samanthajonesprqueen: I mean horrific in the sense of the actual experience. I know several people who have had them and didn't regret it, but just the idea of having anyone suctioning something out of me, or having an epically long period sounds horrific. Absolutely ZERO judgment on anyone having one. I'd prob do

@l'autrichienne: I don't really think many people are pro-abortion. I can't think that anyone actively wants to have an abortion. I don't think that those who think abortion is wrong are incorrect. I honestly don't know what I'd do in that situation, and thank the pharmaceutical gods for assisting me in not having

My boyfriend and I started our relationship via BBM. I think there was an immediate attraction but we are both kind of shy and with BBM we were more outgoing with each other than we likely would have been in person. We actually had fairly deep conversations considering the short length of time we'd known each other.

I will just willingly admit that I have been watching Bridalplasty and they frequently talk about the fairytale wedding. I don't get it. Maybe I'm still oblivious because I'm young but I feel like loving someone enough and so blindly that I'd be willing to dedicate my whole life to them in front of the people I care

Best headline of the day.

The timing on this is excellent. Well not excellent as I'd rather not be a heartbroken depressed mess. But at least I know my current ensemble of polar fleece lounge pants, medusa hair, oprah mug, and hippo t-shirt that says "hip" is acceptable for wallowing.

@BobcatCorduroy: Agree agree agree. Blaming the victim=evil. Pure evil.

It's studies like this that give me mini panic attacks that I should have settled for my college boyfriend because we loved each other and who cares if he was catholic and I was atheist and the sex was boring, we should have made it work and now that I'm 24 it's too far gone and I'm going to be alone and depressed

I have never been attracted to a blonde male in my life. Never. Does this mean I'm racist? Personal attraction and racism do not= the same thing.

I can't wait for people to get angry at O for saying her miscarriage was a blessing. I don't get anyone who dislikes her. Woman is a saint.

This gives me the sads. I personally know two women who have served in the Peace Corps (one being my mother in the late seventies) and they had wonderful, life-changing experiences. I do have to note, both of them worked in all-girls schools run entirely by women.

I lie about how much TV I watch to everyone.

@Palimpsestina: I too live in Chicago and when I saw the headline of this article I honestly counted how many items of clothing I'm wearing and thought "yes! exactly six!" until I realized it wasn't referring to daily. Fail.

I cant wait to read another article about some celebrity who used to be fat and worthless, but then they lost weight and realized that beauty is on the inside and all about confidence! But only when you're a size 2 of course.

@MorganLeFay: Agreed. Conversely, if Black Swan wins, I will lose all faith in humanity.

@pashadag: I am on a birth control that makes me skip periods completely for medical (and sexytime) reasons. I completely share your fear. I take pregnancy tests around once a month just to make sure and honestly, it's the only way for me to stay sane.

@Lynx: It's not illegal to drink alcohol when pregnant, therefore it's not illegal to serve alcohol to a pregnant woman. Some might refuse; that is their prerogative. But kicking her out of a public place for being pregnant is discrimination, which IS illegal.

No bar in Roselle needs to be worried about looking "uncool" (to quote Jen Aniston) for having a pregnant patron. The simple fact that the bar is located in Roselle is enough to make that point obvious.
