Apologies for the total tangent here, but you sent me down the Exceptional Products, Inc internet hole, and I found this (and I am not kidding, here are the receipts) on their page called CURRENT COMMERCIALS.

Two true things that are otherwise largely unrelated:

I’m wondering the same thing. Although I suppose we’ll never know.

The crazy thing to me is that Clinton’s response here, which was a moderate, every-so-slightly-more-than-a-slap-on-the-wrist, theoretically may not have actually harmed the victim further (maybe) and definitely didn’t ruin this asshat’s life, seems like exactly the sort of halfhearted response the critics of the

I can’t agree. Oprah has done a lot of good in the world and I have no doubt of her good intentions. However, she has propped up a lot of damaging pseudoscience and has remained conveniently silent on major past errors. (Including her support of the charlatans Dr Phil and Dr Oz.) That is her privilege as a private

This is what Matt Damon sounds like with coaching.

Rehoming the dog with a staff member of the dog’s trainer, who is intimately aware of the dog’s needs and wants to provide an appropriate home is apparently the same as “abandoning” it.

Haha! Yes. Far to much credit I think.

Hehe. Same reason the MRAs aren’t up and arms when men are slandered and maligned as complete drooling idiots incapable of the most basic level of self control and professionalism.

“It made enough money, so it couldn’t have been crappy or problematic...”

Yay Freedom! Everyone has the freedom to buy a mansion!

These sorts of women have a simple approach: Men have most of the power and you can access these men by rejecting feminism, obsessing over the fragile fee fees of men in power and embracing “traditional femininity”.

I meant Trump would fall Trudeau’s charm and flattery. Not the other way around.

This wasn’t intended as an insult. On the other extreme, you have Trump, who is convinced he is the smartest person in any room. Being the smartest person in the room is a bad, bad, bad position to put yourself in, even if it’s true!

He also taught at a private school for several years, West Point Grey Academy in Vancouver. In fairness, I know he has subjects besides just drama so I don’t know when or where he taught what.

I agree with everything you wrote, except I think this *will* go well. Trump likely admires Trudeau’s celebrity and approval ratings, but, Trudeau’s celebrity is foreign and niche, so doesn’t need to threaten Trump in any way. I doubt Trump will see past the flattery and civility, because I don’t think it serves his

Well, there is no racial element to Trudeau’s election, and he’s the son of a previous PM... I’d say he’s more like a George W Bush, but with solid progressive social views and approval ratings that aren’t in a toilet. I like the man a good bit, but I doubt Trudeau is the smartest person in any room, but he is alert
