Trump and his cronies do know we can all read, right?

Oh, the minister’s reaction was super clever! Let’s demand a young woman do her attacker the service of accepting an obligatory and utterly empty gesture of kindness, each week! He managed to never lose sight of whose education, safety and mental health were truly important.

We have some really fantastic BLM leaders and activists in Canada who are getting some shit done.

Okay, first off, BLM exists in Canada. As it should, because Black people exist here, as does racism. We have lots of similar problems around policing and racial profiling and all that horrible jazz. Bigotry doesn’t evaporate at the border, as much as we wish it did, because that would be very helpful. Nevertheless,

You broke it you bought it. Only one nation involved here has a pattern of turning vaguely talented adolescents into narcissistic monsters, and it’s not Canada.

From a moral standpoint, gun control advocates are unlikely to to post images of the bodies of murdered Americans without considering the desires of the dead and/or consent of the families - who are unlikely to be thrilled by such use even if they agree politically.

Catholic Church tries to promote it’s beliefs by relating it to a popular cultural phenomenon.

Res judicata is being discussed here because several petitioners had brought a very similar claim of unconstitutionality before HB2 came into effect. Res judicata bars a successive litigation of the very same claim. The majority decision said this second claim, being appealed now, was substantially different because

She was also deemed to have taken more steps to provide some care—however inadequate—to the child. She was guilty, but the judge found her less morally culpable, and less likely to repeat her mistake.

As well they should be, although I’m not sure much will come of an investigation being done by The College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta...

11 year old children aren’t allowed to decide anything because they are not legally adults.

I would love to believe these parents were just sorta dumb too—unfortunately it doesn’t seem they are being used for an agenda, that agenda has always been theirs and it’s made them utterly blind and remorseless for what they’ve done. Some people are just so stupid they end up being evil.

On a personal level I’d like to see the children taken away, but that isn’t just. It’s not going to happen either. The parents are going to have be a much more immediate threat to a child’s safety before that happens.

It’s slightly different when an 11-year-old child has strong opinions about their care and treatment than when a 19-month-old is denied even proper diagnosis by parents.

Those non-traditional ‘medicine’ practitioners the family trusted, told them to seek real medical treatment. They didn’t take advantage of this families trust. They provided sound advice, which these parents didn’t take.

The doctors appointments for her children are part of her probation. They need to see a doctor every three months for the next two years.

The public. This punishment serves the public interest, because it’s not okay to deny your child access to medical care when the are desperately ill. There is a basic parenting standard we enforce as a society: Don’t rape your kids. Don’t starve your kids. Don’t allow your children to suffer and die because of your

Meh. If you believe love is a terrifying blood sport, where you suspend your rational mind in order to achieve social status and/or money... then you might think this show is about love.
