First year students who came directly from high school are 17 or 18. That usually means about 30% of the a freshman class is underage. A big enough percentage that most Canadian universities organize frosh week with that in mind.
Oh, well that’s fine then. We all know that it in no way harms or confuses young women or men to hear their fathers joke that the value a woman could bring to a role is dependant on how sexually attractive they are.
It’s almost like people who believe themselves to be ordained by supernatural powers, or to hold some sort of divine right, are actually not any better than the average jerk you can meet on the street.
The apology is, at least in my reading, pretty good. Almost too good to be believed.
His reaction to being asked if she was capable of consent was “Uh Oh. That’s my bad.”
Your randomly selected (I’m guessing) Job 4:13-14, reveals a vision condemning those who think themselves above God. 13-14 is this:
Sure, but that would require him to stop speaking for a moment, and comprehend something someone else was saying too him, on a topic other than himself.

Her interview on After Paradise made it clear she hadn’t really changed her “Just tell the lie you wanna tell” approach the…
Well, he ‘bought’ it from Jaclyn, who didn’t seem to think it was worth the paper it was printed on at that point.
Carly ‘No, you don’t deserve a conversation’ is my spirit animal.
As much as the hypocrisy and inconsistency does bother me, I really think the crux of the issue here is the mindless cruelty.
