Maybe you should reduce the population by 1. Do your part, however small.

I have a modest proposal for you

2012 to be precise. And as someone else pointed out, they still run 4 speed manual transmissions.

You’re a delight.

Agreed. Giant Meteor 2020!

Frame-by-framing it as best I could seems to reveal the Carsandcoffier-Bresson decisive moment. I don’t know if it was a hole or a soft spot or a concrete liner or what, but I think there was something specific in the ditch or about the ditch that suddenly turned the embarrassment upside down.

Is this the flying car we've been promised?

No. I don’t mind the lack of a temperature adjust on the steering wheel, because swipe on the 3's screen is very easy.

Relative to any Aston but the Lagonda, maybe. Relative to the TR7, hellllllllll no.

That screen better have some F-35 level x-ray vision targeting package.

I typically would attend this C&C, though I had other plans this past week. There’s normally police in attendance and down the street to try and stop this from happening.

Yep. My 2008 Subaru (Subaru!!) did it far better with no touchscreen. Simple. Right to the point. Appropriately sized.

The screen on the steering wheel really puts that one over the top. Somehow that big screen across the front is less offensive than the one tacked onto the model 3 dash. And it appears there are some dedicated controls in the middle.... But... Touchscreen on the steering wheel is the hands down winner for worst.

“Also”?

I’ve had my Model 3 for 4 months.  I like the interior a lot and the screen is very easy to work with.  Important stuff like speed and indicators are on the upper left and easy to keep track of.  Navigation and entertainment are a breeze to use.  I thought my Kia had good infotainment, but the Model 3 is far better.

The center screen had me taking my eyes off the road for basic stuff.

The steering certainly isn’t pretty.

counterpoint, it looks great and its the beginning of an automotive trend that will continue to be copied well into the future
