Tesla has been trying to limit diagnostics of their vehicles for quite a while. The Model S & X have OBD II ports, but even they use a non-standard pin sequence.

The two screens are a bit outlandish IMO, but the rest of the design doesn’t offend me personally. I appreciate simplicity/minimalism, but that’s not for everyone. I would say this interior has a lot of potential. I personally quite like the center portion of the dash. I don’t like how the dash makes a “u” around the…

The Model S has the thumbwheel switches and you can also press them in to select. Those two buttons on the Model S have all functionality built in: Radio, A/C temp, fan speed (which goes to 11 btw), etc. I wonder if they purposely left this out of the Model 3.
