I’m pretty excited for this one. The Switch is the first Nintendo console I’ve owned since N64 and I do most gaming on my PS4 these days. So I’m very excited to play through an endless stream of custom made levels by other gamers. One of my favorite things to do online was watch former Kotaku writer Patrick Klepek’s

I can’t wait for no one to play my levels!
Only slightly kidding, and I’m definitely playing the crap out of this game and going to love every minute of it.

R.I.P. Mystery Mushroom. Probably one of the coolest features in the first game.

A Super Paper Mario theme (if only because that was the most traditional platformer themed game in the series) would be rad.

I’ve appreciated your opinions here for some time, and this genuine praise carries so much weight for me.

Trust me when I tell you that unlike me literally every time I fly someplace in Outer Wilds, this game sticks the landing.

I also exclusively do staycations, but I also live in Las Vegas.

I honestly think word is silly because even if you’re staying at home for your vacation, it’s still a vacation. But it also just means that I hate people because when I come back to work everyone wants to know where I went and what I did and I'm like nowhere, nothing, and they say oh nice a staycation? I'm like no it

I don’t know why someone would be annoyed by the word or the concept. It’s cheaper than traveling, you get to stay in a place you are already comfortable at and you will have a near zero chance of being attacked by wildlife. If I plan it right I get to do four, week long paid vacations a year where I can just do

Since I only play it occasionally I need to relearn every damn floor to make sure I have enough time for the new floor.”

Tactics Advance and its sequel are miserable chores to play. The characters are all one note (doesn’t matter if they have real life problems if each character only gets one problem to be the entirety of their personality), the story is a snooze-fest, and the gameplay is tedious and frustrating.

Metroid Zero Mission. One of the best games in one of the best series in gaming.

After playing for about 60+ hours and then just sort of.....wandering away a couple years ago, I finally started up a brand new playthrough of Persona 5 last night, and I’m determined to see it through this time.  I think it will go a lot smoother now that I’ve got a handle on some of the more obscure mechanics in the

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night!

I happened to see this extremely bad take. It was incredibly frustrating and disturbing. I want to quote a different commenter, who has some academic experience in these matters. This is from Arnheim:

What the fuck Chuck?

I’m just here for the ratio of the try-hard concern troll. Please, carry on.

I’ll take that bait:

Oh, gosh, though... BotW is so huge that even given the 100+ hours I’ve put into it, I can somehow always stumble into something new almost every time I play it. Wandering around in that game is a sheer, seemingly endless delight.
