I’ll be honest, I don’t really like the grunting. It makes the cutscenes feel empty.

Nioh is great if you like the other FromSoft games. It plays more like a faster Bloodborne than Sekiro IMO. You manage a stamina bar and it’s more dodging than blocking. It’s heavier on RPG elements. You level up, and your weapons and armor also have levels to manage.

I’m glad Donkey Kong ‘94 ended up being a best seller on the system, because it was an incredible puzzle platformer and anyone who just thought it was just a port of the original DK missed out on something special.
