What about your hands? My hands are in pain right now, after many hours of DQXIS this past weekend. Of course, I also play piano for a living.

Will there be a single post that lists all the digital game sales this week?  That would be super useful, and generate many clicks I’m sure.

Congrats on being done buying presents!

I thought it looked amazing back then. I agree with you that it was a bit muddy, and there was, in fact, a bit of learning curve regarding visually parsing the PC and NPCs, plus items and interactive set pieces, etc, from the static background environments. But I though that was actually part of the challenge of the

This game sounds really fascinating, and I think I might enjoy some if it, but the absurdly bloated (ie bad) writing proves that the people in charge of these awards shows either don’t actually know what good writing is, or they don’t care. Either way, its nomination as GotY says to me that I shouldn’t give a shit

Why not?  As OP said, it’s a big advertisement for video games.

For those of you who haven’t had the chance, the ending of TLoU is even more powerful than the beginning, and is the single greatest ending to any video game that I’ve ever played.

There will always be grown-ass people whining like spoiled children on the internet.  Ignoring them is the only sensible response.

No one should be surprised or disappointed. This is both exactly what we deserve, and the most we could have hoped for.

Loved this game.  It helps that the lead voice actress is a close friend (and she is really good at her job), but the gameplay and art are great, too.  I really wish there were more levels and it got more complex, but the story was tight so the length did feel appropriate for the narrative they created.

Wow he’s been in two games and an ad campaign for a third, and all three of those games got a perfect score? That’s more than 11% of the total perfect scores they’ve ever given. If there are no examples of Hamamura appearing in a game that did not get a perfect score, it would basically be statistically impossible

I hope the rules allow you to choose yourself as winner, because I don’t think anything will top that header image.

Great question, Riley! I‘ve gone back to Bloodstained (which is great!) because of the update for the Switch version, and I was extremely pleased with the difference. The controls feel significantly more responsive, and it looks noticeably better as well. So I’ll probably spend most of my gaming time finishing

I fucking love that movie so much.

So you’re saying it’s exactly like your insult?  Thanks?

Think for yourself, you TikTok sheep.

Huh. Interesting. I personally disagree. I am definitely among the oldest millenials, but I think it should be more unique and eventful than that. For my bachelor party (wedding later cancelled), we went to Atlantic City, and drank and gambled all night. And we did go to a few strip clubs, yes, but I had only

I totally agree, and I think that’s because the writing is on a level above almost every other video game ever made. It’s the only game I’ve ever played that I feel the script could rival well-respected Hollywood fare.

I don’t think because a whole lot of people were talking about a game when it came out is a reason to call it “important” six years later. I thought Bioshock Infinite was great (if a bit incoherent by the end), but no one ever talks about it now, and it was not influential. And people regularly site either the first

Well said.
