But your implicating statement is based on no evidence, or argument, at all. So it’s just utter nonsense, and childish insults. I see now I was giving you too much credit, so that was my bad.

I actually had a similar read to T_M and feast mode, except that Rivera was specifically referring to this particular game/franchise in the quote you brought up and how it lionizes male soldiers, and his personal experience watching men box and play football in the quote T_M brought up. But I have not played this…
That is not, in any way, shape, or form, an argument.
Oh shit so they are on unicycles?? I loved Uniracers on the SNES. But this is probably nothing like that.
The Death Stare was calm, cool, and calculating, IOW the opposite of road rage. What usually happens after that can definitely be described as road rage, though.
I’m very curious to know what Soviet Bear Uni Adventure is. Does “uni” refer to “university” in this context? Or maybe the Soviet Bear rides a unicycle? Either way, very intriguing.
What about Kart-driving Luigi’s Death Stare?? That’s clearly the epitome of Luigi coolness. Luigi Prime deserves a spot atop the list for that reason, or perhaps the Kart driver deserves a separate entry from the platform jumper.
NieR: Automata is in my top 5 for this current generation, but its brilliance is more subtle than that of most other brilliant video games. One of its best aspects IMO is how it incorporates its video game-ness completely into its story. Everything that you see and every menu and interface you use in playing the game…
This is very exciting! Not the tone change; I agree with you, Heather, that Diablo III struck the right balance of darkness and whimsy. But my biggest complaint with that game is that it is not visceral at all. The combat is not tangible. It feels with a PS4 controller like it was built for pointing and clicking a…
I’m with you, but I also hardly played Diablo II. III was my first real experience with the franchise, and I thought the aesthetic design was excellent. Especially after a few updates. It really looks beautiful even on an OG PS4.
Good thing they made a new engine, added a new skill tree, and are adding single-player story missions, in addition to the new game mode, then, huh? Now that this franchise has PvE content, I might actually play it. Seems like a sequel to me.
Thanks for this. I was using my right pointer finger for the Dark Light and my left thumb to aim the plunger and strobelight. Not ideal.
I beat Astral Chain last night, so it’s on to Luigi’s Mansion 3! Also I will probably do some of the endgame content is AC as well, along with more Persona 3 Portable and Zelda Oracle of Ages, as has been true for a few weekends now.
Why do you expect that? Just because of what’s happened at Deadspin this week?
I don’t think anyone has been fired from Kotaku. The “Jason was fired” rumor two days ago was debunked by several Kotaku editors very quickly, and his twitter profile still says “News editor at Kotaku”.
Yeah I loved the game on SNES, and the carpet is definitely a big part of that.
Interesting! Can’t believe I never knew that. I suppose I never played the Genesis game, but I did love the SNES version. That’s too bad that consensus seems to say Virgin’s game is inferior. I think they made Cool Spot, which was one of my favorite non-Mario platformers of that generation.
Ok I had no idea the Genesis version Of Aladdin was different from the SNES. People clearly have very strong opinions. How are they different?
I played Nioh after Sekiro, and it felt pretty easy to me, so I would vote with those who say it’s easier than FromSoft games. I’d also agree with those who say there are too many systems and too much gear to wade through. But I LOVED Sekiro, which has no gear and like two skill trees and that’s it, so maybe that’s…
Sucks to wake up early tho
