Yeah I actually think I prefer the story of FFXV, just because the characters were more fleshed out and memorable. This despite the fact that the FFXII story is complete and makes sense all the way through, which can’t be said of FFXV.

I beat FFXII:TZA on PS4 like six weeks ago. Great game! However, Jeremy Parish, whom I respect a great deal, said it was the best Final Fantasy ever, and I strongly disagree, simply because the characters and story were simply never that engaging. It’s all competently done, but the writing feels devoid of passion…
Super Mario Bros 2 was the first game that I worked all the way through on my own. For years, it was my favorite ending to a game, probably until Final Fantasy IV.
Ah ha, I wasn’t aware! I knew about Scholar of the First Sin, but I thought it was just a GotY edition for PS3 and 360. Thanks! I think it’s DS3 I was thinking of re: the DLC, though. That’s the one that people generally felt the snowy DLC was the best of part of weaker entry in the franchise, yeah? Obviously I’m…
Amazing, thanks for the info!
Because it’s the kind of game that I would tend to play way more if I could boot it up immediately, rather than having to retrieve the disc and load it into the console first. I usually didn’t bother replacing whatever disc was in the Wii U just to spend five or ten minutes making a Mario level.
Preorder bonus for the physical version only, I presume? I really regretted getting the physical version for Wii U, and I won’t be making that mistake again if I do end up buying this game.
Aw shit :/
If you are at all interested in the 3D effect, I highly recommend the New 3DS. The 3D effect works so much better, and there are several games that are really enhanced by the effect. Once I had a N3DS, I always played with the 3D on, and most of the time at full.
If they hadn’t given up on actually implementing the 3D effect in 1st-party games, I would be more disappointed.
Since I finally BEAT DARK SOULS last Tuesday (!!!), I’ll be deep diving into Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. I started briefly Wednesday evening, and was able to beat the first general after many deaths, so hopefully that Dragonrot isn’t too far along yet.
This belongs in the Jason Schreier Headline Hall of Fame. Classic.
Yeah it’s a video game review, not a climate change forum. You should fuck right off with your bad-faith debating.
Everything you said just now is completely wrong, just so you know. You’re judgement of me, and what I was saying, are both completely and totally wrong. Check the comments on the article about the non-binary pro MtG player if you want another representation of my politics, one that is less nuanced so maybe you…
Just because you restated what I said and then restated your nonsensical interpretation of it doesn’t make your interpretation any less nonsensical, dumb, and wrong.
People telling other people how they should feel and how they should identify themselves is bullshit, actually.
My comment was neither passive nor aggressive. I was both direct and mild. I made a suggestion, then said, “or not”, signaling that I didn’t care much one way or the other. Did you even read my comment, or did you just find a few words that you could form in your head into something that riled you up so you could…
I can’t, but thankfully that’s not what happened. As I’ve already explained to another commenter who also didn’t try very hard to understand what I was getting at, the implication of the final sentence of the first paragraph was that anyone who isn’t actively pondering the end of the world doesn’t care about the…
The radicalism was the implication of the final sentence in the first paragraph that anyone who doesn’t actively ponder the end of the world doesn’t care about the future of the planet.
Why?
