This sounds fantastic. I have so many new games to play, between various Spring eshop sales and squeezing all I could out of my Best Buy GCU membership that ends this month, but I may download this anyway, since it sounds super fun, looks amazing, and is worth the price for the name alone.

My god everyone is so angry and cynical.

Having worked with myriad directors, I can assure you that no director anywhere wants an actor to turn in a dull performance. That is probably the only quality that one can guarantee a director will never want in a performance.

Got two shows tomorrow, so I’ll be playing a bunch of keyboard (plus that sweet Roli MPE). Sunday, however, is my first day off from work in three weeks, so I will be playing plenty of Dark Souls, and Yoshi’s Crafted World, which I used the end of my Best Buy Gamer’s Club Unlocked membership to buy, since Nintendo

Or people like me whose roommate at the time made a cringe-worthy name for them by accident, cause they couldn’t wait for the actual owner of the PS3 to settle in after work before diving into the PSN digital shop.

Why did you call me an idiot? Don’t be a dick. I agree with you, so there was no call for that. I don’t think anyone would argue it was the greatest console ever, but it was a great console.  I was preempting anyone responding to my comment about Nintendo’s history with hardware with the Wii U as a counter example.

This comment does not deserve to be ungreyed, but I can’t let this nonsense go. Being realistic is exactly what I’m doing: Analyzing recent history and making a judgement based on that. You, and the rest, have absolutely no reason to believe that Nintendo will botch this so severely, as you are doing. And calling

My god everyone around here is so negative. This is Nintendo! Yes, they’ve had failures in the past, but with the exception of the Virtual Boy, the actual hardware has always functioned very well. The Wii U wasn’t the greatest console ever, but I believe it was a necessary precursor to the Switch, and there were

Are they ever going to release PSVR gen 2? I really think it’s a mistake to not have teased anything like that at this point. There is no way in hell I am buying a first-gen VR headset, and if they don’t talk about the next model at some point, I’m going to lose interest. I’m certainly not going to go back and play

It’s got 40 games. If half of them are good, it will not be a shameless cash-grab at all at $80 for the console and two controllers. I love my SNES Mini. Also I don’t think you have any reason to think they’ll skimp on the emulation if Chris is correct when he suggests that they want to repair their brand a bit

Not only was Connor written in an off-putting way, the voice acting was even more off-putting than the writing.  I’m among those who gave up halfway through because Connor was insufferable.  Too bad they didn’t include any of that content that made him more sympathetic in the main game.

I felt the same way.  Then I got Origins for half price, and played the whole thing.  And I was very pleased I did.

Tomorrow I’m playing the piano for 12 hours (not really 12 hours of playing, just 12 hours of rehearsal). Sunday I am playing Enter the Gungeon with my friend Jon until we defeat the Oubliette. Hopefully I’ll still have some time for some Dark Souls and/or Starlink: Battle for Atlas.

...but you do have to sign up for it separately.

The Yoshi’s Island sequel on the DS was definitely the weakest Yoshi game, and I feel that they’ve been getting incrementally better with every installment since. Woolly World is the the best one since the original, but it’s still a tad pedestrian IMO. It sounds like this one might be more interesting though.

The news is awful but this looks great! Definitely worthy of being the final game I purchase with my Best Buy Gamers’ Club Unlocked membership discount.

Absolutely, maybe that way I could get past level 3.

Damn I’m still trying to get through the first optional dungeon! This game is too hard to have this much content. But it is amazing and I appreciate the developers’ work immensely!

That’s a truly bizarre-yet-on point tweet. Thank you for sharing it, Luke.

Didn’t come out dumb at all, I think you articulated very well something that I also really like about Dark Souls and Bloodborne, that the worlds/atmosphere are very immersive, and are juxtaposed with many elements or mechanics that feel video game-y, but are always tied into the narrative somehow. I think that’s a
