Oooohhhh I see. Yes, that makes much more sense. Thank you, I guess I was being dumb on that one, and it is a somewhat reasonable criticism overall. Though I definitely either didn’t mind the hacking, or actively enjoyed it. I don’t quite remember.

Inferior to what, do you know? The first game? The combat wasn’t amazing, and did feel repetitive by the end of the game, but it was still fun for most of it. I don’t even remember the hacking minigame, so it couldn’t have been that obtrusive.
Ha I haven’t even gotten to level 3. And if Bullet King is the boss at the end of level 1, I’m basically fucked. But I do feel like I’ve gotten better at it. And I’ve always enjoyed twin-stick shooters, which Gungeon is obviously a more complex version of.
Great reporting, Ethan! I will always be far more interested in reading something like this than a piece about the latest controversy surrounding a twitch streamer, even if she is a huge long shot to win.
Yeah if the reviews are good I’m getting Spider-Man day 1. I effing love Ratchet & Clank.
The Messenger, which is a great game in its first half as far as I’m concerned, despite what some editors may think. The cloudstepping mechanic makes the gameplay feel unique and fresh, and the level design, music, and writing are all excellent.
I also use a shoehorn, and this is pretty cool. Mine is pretty deformed at this point from jamming my feet into shoes that I never untied, so I might spring for this.
I’m very curious to see how this lawsuit comes up against Florida’s incredibly lax gun laws. Presumably, the shooter didn’t do anything illegal until he started shooting, yes?
But I have no reason to believe that the developers fully knew the earlier graphics wouldn’t be achievable, and neither do the folks complaining about this.
Anyone who doesn’t realize at this point that early trailers are not in any way a guarantee of what the game will look like deserves to get really agitated over trivial shit and then be laughed and mercilessly memed at on Twitter.
Damn that was an excellent description of the mood of 2002. It was a strange time. Way to go, Luke.
Holy shit those gifs look fun as hell.
Thank you so much for this. I was very confused by CNN’s homepage this morning. And even after clicking on and reading half of the lead story, entitled “Debunking Trump’s Google Conspiracy”, I still didn’t get where this all came from.
This is what I wanted to buy today. The official digital version you can buy at cost did not let me use the discount, but I did get one that was slightly inflated from a seller in Canada (also a digital code) that did work with the discount. I ended up paying about $31.50 for a $35 card, or 10% off. Which isn’t…

Wow, I don’t know how I missed that sentence for so long. Thanks!
Holy fuck this text is much too unwieldy to read on a mobile device. I literally cannot read two comments without the entire page reloading, which is taking at least fifteen seconds. Is this long scrolling blog style of posts part of Univision’s scheme to get us all to watch the videos? Has no one heard of page…
Wow Smash Bros digital is not included. I was about to make a comment about how I’d rather pay two dollars more on only the biggest games rather than 20% off all new games if I can get a discount on the digital versions. But now...

I’m pretty sure Fahey was dealing with some medical issues three months ago that might have distracted him from this game’s reveal.
Eh, it’s a beautiful house that I specifically remember seeing and snapping a oicture of when I was there in April. Maybe it does belong on a real estate pamphlet, because it defnitely makes me want to visit.
I took a picture of that exact corner when I was there in April! How does one get their photos featured around here? Do you find them out in the wild, on people’s websites and instagram posts? I don’t make my photos public like that, mainly because I have no website, or instagram or facebook account. But I do…
