It’s the End of the Road as We Know It (and I Fiat fine)

More like enemy planes shot down on the side of your fighter jet.

It does not suck for me. I am quite happy with my employment. I worked hard to get where I’m at and it’s paying off. I see no reason why that would change in the future...

What’s more puzzling is why you’re bitching about their pay. Especially if you’re as well off as you say.

This is a simple life lesson - No means NO...... And you are not required to explain yourself to anyone.

Absolutely. I’ve proposed that all airlines should be required to post a standard fare with 1 checked bag and assigned seats. Let people add or subtract from there, but at least make Economy historically consistent. They’re trying to reinvent the game allegedly to compete with the ultra-low cost carriers. IMHO, people

Not disagreeing with the article, but I wanted to point out something about sitting next to your partner. The benefit isn’t hours of conversation, the benefit is that you’re comfortable being in each other’s personal space. With a stranger crammed next to you, you have to work to maintain your distance.

Kinda like people that cry about banning AR-15's.....

I also heard that 100% of fatal crashes result in a death. Unreal.

I’d take a middle seat over a seat next to someone else’s kids.

Agreed with all of this, with one exception: if the captain/pilot tells you to to move, you move.
If they tell you to do the truffleshuffle, you do it.
Sue them afterwards and win big, but while on a airplane, the pilot is a dictator god. Same with the captain of a ship.
Document everything, get witnesses & video, and

which phases of that trip appear to behave the closest to a human driver.

people with your mindset are terrifyingly stupid.

Imagine how much uglier it’ll look when there’s a real license plate there.

ALL CAR MANUFACTURERS, NOW HEAR THIS:

I live in California. Maybe I’m weird or the minority, but I look at this different from the Ford man.

I think we will see battery tech efficiency gains exceed use requirements long before we could standardize and facilitate quick exchanges of $10k battery packs. When you can get 200-300 miles out of a 7 minute 40% charge, a battery exchange will seem insane.

I’m not so convinced they’re a transportation company. I’d liken it to McDonalds:

The world needs to stop the evil employers who’ve kidnapped unassuming car owners and made them accept terms they don’t like. The drivers can’t simply seek employment they DO like. Poor victims.

That might be the step after they argue their points in court and don’t win what they need to win - they just say “See ya” to California and let the politicians in California deal with the flack they WILL receive.
