Alternate headline:
I love that “safety” and “Thing that let’s me pay less attention while driving” have become conflated to such an extreme...
Or we could simply not worry about out of state mileage except for rare cases where the vehicle does A LOT of out of state driving. Basically, you pay for driving in your state, even if it was out-of-state, unless you submit to more invasive tracking to prove that you’re doing a lot of out-of-state driving. I’d wager…
I live in a state where people just voted in a gas tax and the government spends it on what they call road diets to take away drive lanes, and high speed rail, and metro lines nobody uses.
1st: Doesn’t VW pretty much have to STFU about everything until they’ve lived down their own shame?
With all the CAR manufacturers looking at a recession, I’m looking for a new CAR. For the last 25 years, I’ve only bought new vehicles as daily drivers. On average, one every 4 years. All but two of them have been equipped with manual transmissions (a van for the wife & a Prius fo me because 30,000+ miles a year). For…
Came here for this. Not disappointed. Thank you.
Only if its not a frunk, but a front bed pickup. Be so much fun.
First impression: grille
Bit more of a supposition than a source.
Yeh, wish there was a better system... That was kind of my inarticulate thought... The sheriff isn’t going to do anything on a civil matter unless a judge tells him to. Unfortunately, that costs money... which means there’s not much justice for you if you don’t have money.
I know I’m in the minority but I have zero interest in BMW, Audi, MB, Porsche. Zero. I have no emotional connection when I see their cars. I’m also turned off by the so-called German engineering mantra, when, in fact, it’s planned obsolescence that’s baked in. These cars are not engineered to last 200,000 or 300,000…
How good is the purchase option on the car? Can you just buy it and then trade it in - then finance the loss? ... Seems complicated but fair?
Why would you expect someone to pay for a car they no longer have.
Should have parked it on the beach in Myrtle Beach last week.
“Illegal to build walkable cities, towns, and neighborhoods”?
So the part to this is that the vast majority of pedestrians getting hit by cars are when they are legally doing so with the right of way. It’s almost as if the jaywalkers are more vigilant and their number of crash involvements are way down %-wise. Where pedestrians expect to be safe and therefore lower their guard…
Cadillac’s current brand identity is American BMW. Now they want to position themselves as American Tesla, which, of course, is American. A recipe for disaster.
To clarify, Lincoln has a clear brand identity now: quiet flight on land. Their cars are like luxury private airplanes minus the wings. The names of the cars even evoke that. I’ve driven the new Continental and the new Navigator and they’re just effortlessly nice. They put you at ease. You’re not going to beat any…
