But many employers, including the German Federal Government, offer additional health insurance. It covers things like private rooms in the hospital, some elective surgeries, things like that.

Supervised release is a pain in the ass. It’s just more punishment. She might negotiate 24 months of SR versus 4 months in prison + 12 months SR. Almost anything’s better than prison.
