We enjoy deregulated energy in Texas - the electricity companies are all “for profit” - there is no municiple or state regulatory board, setting end user prices, etc. As a result we have the highest electricity prices in the US.

As a Houstonian allow me to point out we have unregulated electricity, and the highest energy prices in the US. Our energy companies were SELLING Texas electricity to other states, perhaps on to Mexico, before they were caught and forced to sell only within our national state
